Submissions

Harlots‘ Sauce Radio e-magazine accepts opinion pieces, articles, essays, humor, poetry, and short stories up to 3,000 words. We also publish graphics and photography. We welcome work from all perspectives, but we will not publish straw man arguments or ad hominem arguments.  To get an idea of what we’re looking for click here.

Please submit your work double-spaced, font size 12, Times New Roman. Unless you are submitting poetry, or prose with a specific line breakage and formatting, do  not put extra spaces between paragraphs. Rather, indent them.  All work must be original work.

Please submit via email to editors@harlotssauce.com. Write ‘submission’ in the subject line and attach an rtf, WORKS, or WORD document.  Also paste your submission to the body of your email. Please include your brief bio (no more than 2-3 lines) in the email body, as well.

We currently pay with byline and bio only. We’re sorry we’re unable respond to all inquiries, but if we’re interested in publishing your work, you’ll hear from us within one month of submission, and with few exceptions, your work will be posted the next issue after acceptance. (We are currently a Quarterly.) You will  hear from us via email when your work is published. Please do not contact us asking when your work will be posted. Please understand that we get hundreds of emails a week, and therefore cannot engage in back and forth correspondence  with every writer.

If you’re submitting photographs or graphics, we accept JPEG, GIF, and PNG files. We request your photos be no more than 500 pixels. Provide us with a URL to your photo site, which we will link to every photo you submit. For photographers we do not require bios, only link backs.
